This is a copy or the email I sent to him on reading the nonsense from the Nurses Union:

To: Jason watson

Hi Jason,

I write from Perth having just read an article from the Australian Nurses Union on suicide and Gender Dysphoria.

The information you provided was, of course, accurate and most appropriate to be published as you did.

The Affirmative Model of Gender Care is a blight on the medical profession and is wreaking irreversible damage.

So well done, we need more like you who speak out.

Warm Regards,

Vincent Keane RACP (ret)

Bravo Ruben and Jason, encore! The ANMF needs to face the natural, lawful consequences resulting from its rabid, anti science conduct.

They apologized for the wrong thing and have yet to explain why his article was incorrect or otherwise not worth publishing.

If the information in the article is correct, it is essential for parents and others to have it.

If it is incorrect, the journal needs to produce the evidence and argument as to why.

This is not an argument:

Negativity and hatred have no place in our movement,” says the apology, which also implies that the article is in some way discriminatory and creates an “unsafe environment for those seeking support”.

Where does the retracted article do this?

I started reading, and as always; what arises inside me is: where the heck does this come from, with such solid clout?

Then the sentence with the letters in it. Lobby 'poor me, don't hurt my feelings'- Or more likely- ' don't come too close to the truth. It's honestly too uncomfortable for me to face reality'.

A COPY OF THE MESSAGE I HAD A SENT TO THE ANMF IN RELATION TO THIS ISSUE

the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF), retracted and apologized for a journal article questioning suicide risk statistics linked to transgender youth healthcare.

Dear Madam/Sir,

Re: Response and apology in relation to a comment questioning suicide risk to transgender youth.

I can find no evidence within Australia or indeed globally of a suicide relating to transgender healthcare except for a multitude of suicides FOLLOWING ‘Transition’.

However, as referenced in the attached studies of the long-term outcome of those who have undergone ‘gender transition’ there is unequivocal evidence of a high prevalence of suicide, HIV, heavy burden of mental health comorbidities and early death after ‘transition’.

Indeed a miserable outcome for the poor souls who have signed up for ‘transition’.

The suicide risk is indeed not for transgender children, it is for those poor souls who undergo transition.

If publishing the truth demands an apology then the ANMF has a lot to learn regarding ethics and transparency.

Sincerely,

Dr Vincent Keane RACP (Ret)
