Globally Trans Women (assigned male at birth) account for around 80% of self-identified transgender prisoners.
The WA government recently blocked an attempt by a violent prisoner who had ‘transitioned’ to female while serving a life sentence in a men's facility from transferring to the Bandyup Women's Prison.
He had begun hormone therapy after being incarcerated as a man.
. . . . The UK MOJ statistics from March/April 2019 (most recent official count of transgender prisoners):
• 76 sex offenders out of 129 transwomen = 58.9%
• 125 sex offenders out of 3,812 women in prison = 3.3%
…. The logic and safety of Australia’s anti-discrimination law that demands trans women have the legal right to use women’s restrooms and change facilities aligning with their affirmed gender identity demands a rethink.
This is clear and comprehensive. I thought I knew a lot about this issue, but this part absolutely astounded me:
“The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) had this definition of sex on the website—
“A person’s assigned sex at birth, determined by sex characteristics observed at birth or infancy. A person’s sex can change over the course of their lifetime and may differ from their assigned sex at birth”
Sadly they have taken at least part of this definition from the bureau of statistics, who I believe mean that a persons REPORTED sex can change over their lifetime, not their actual sex. Hard to believe that the RACGP is relying on a non-medical source for a definition of sex.
I'm not surprised that the RACGP is confused over the reality of gender assigned at birth. Indeed the College has a past history of supporting inappropriate and even damaging medical interventions.
Have you or Sandra written to these medical associations yourself? And would you /she maybe be willing to share with me or give me some sort of template to save me a little bit of time?
Yes, I have, and I have never received a response. I have also emailed Heads of School for various disciplines such as medicine, biology etc and again, nothing. That is why I think they will only respond if there are multiple emails. Given that, I don't have a specific template, I tried various approaches, so, my advice: give it your best shot as you understand the issues/

It's crucial to note that change is happening. People (usually women) who've been in the trenches fighting this garbage since 2015 might not notice it but through their own hard work ordinary people feel empowered to call out gender lies when they see it. Still some way to go but when the cult falls it'll be sudden (and then they'll all deny that they were even part of it.)
The people who have been in it so long must be exhausted, which is why I am encouraging more people to get involved, even if it is only sending emails to any organisation that champions gender ideology.

My emails to this group was the first I tried, and I was stunned, to be honest, but it made me more determined.

In my experience, it's rare that a health professional association will answer any questions about their position. No debate.
