The ‘Australian Professional Association of Trans Health’ will, in all probability, be seen as responsible for a great deal of damage to children in the years to come.

But what about government impartiality ? Our governments are guilty of a massive breach of public trust for funding these fringe political activists to promote their quasi evangelical beliefs.

Agree Mumbum, it is well-passed time that our authorities investigated this travesty and shut it down.

However members of the medical profession who promote and engage in this ideology must be aware that irreversibly mutilating and sterilising children in the absence of any formal study to confirm its efficacy and safety are violating the most sacred tenets of medical practice.

Groups of parents who have been dragged through the fires of hell with gender nonsense could surely be supported in class actions against medical professionals who have harmed their families?

There was another dodgy Dr Russell from Queensland who was Australia's most prolific infant male circumciser. He was fined and reprimanded for falsely opportunistically diagnosing tongue-tie and performing unneeded tongue-tie surgery, in numerous cases.

Just watched the video of GenderGP’s Helen Webberly. She just repeats proven untruths time and time again.

She is obviously a zealot.

She insists that we should ignore Cass because she is not a “gender expert”. That is exactly why Dr Cass was chosen because she had no skin in the game. It’s a pity the interviewer didn’t point out you do not have to be an expert in a field to assess data. You just have to understand basic statistics and the rules of evidence. And what’s more she didn’t do the assessment herself. She was the leader of a team and she outsourced much of the analysis to York University.

As for comparing gender medicine’s evidence base with that of pediatric oncology she couldn’t be further from the truth. I would say that all standard pediatric oncology treatment has passed the hurdle of at least one large randomized double blind clinical trial.

It is frightening that such clearly uninformed and activist practitioners are leading organisations that some of the media clearly regard as authoritative.

It seems that the UK government ban on private prescribing of puberty blockers was crafted with her offshore online clinic partly in mind.
