Although there exists a great deal of concern as to ‘suicidality’, ‘suicidal intent’ and ‘self-harm’ among Australia’s child Gender Dysphoria cohort the good news is that I can find no evidence of a single completed suicide from this cohort in Australia.
Not so our indigenous children:
The Australian Bureau of Statistics reports that over the five years from 2014 to 2018, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, aged 5-17 years accounted for close to a quarter of all child suicide deaths.
The age-specific death rate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child suicide was 8.3 deaths per 100,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, compared to 2.1 per 100,000 for non-Indigenous children
It does seem strange that those committed professionals so concerned with the suicidal ideation, suicidality and unsuccessful suicide attempts of our children ‘born in the wrong body’ would not be focussing on this dreadful reality to at least the same extent?

If they're not listening to her, then they really are not listening and they don't really care. I suspect that activists will either ignore it or begin to bad-mouth its researches and authors. As will mainstream media.

The placard bearing 'trans children are not political pawns' is laughably ironic. Use of this slogan is using children as political pawns.
