The story wouldn’t be a story if reference were made to the fact that there were no evidence base for such an intervention, no suicides and a miserable long-term outcome with high rates of misery, suicide, HIV and early death for those thus ‘saved’.

Anything we (as the public) can do to increase scrutiny or higher concern?
