“We must not publish a study that says we’re harming children because people who say we’re harming children will use the study as evidence that we’re harming children, which might make it difficult for us to continue harming children.”

The number of European countries prohibiting the use of puberty blockers and cross sex hormones in children is ever expanding and currently includes: England, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Germany.

These are nations have highly-respected standards of medical expertise and the consensus for their caution is cited along the lines of:

“The risks of puberty blockers and gender-affirming hormone treatments for persons younger than 18 years is currently outweigh the potential benefits of their use”

Meanwhile we are assured by the relevant experts in Australia that the expanding caution in Europe is inappropriate.

Where has there ever been such a schism in medical opinion:

On the one hand a cautious and conservative approach and on the other Puberty Blockers, Cross Sex Hormones and irreversible mutilating surgery.

Both parties cannot be correct and someday there will be an almighty pox on the one that erred.

What is most disgusting is the profiteering by doctors and clinics off the mutilation of children. This will stop only when victims start suing doctors for failure to disclose the possible negative outcomes and to properly diagnose mental health struggles of vulnerable patients.

Cass, who is a hero, must lie awake at night thinking maybe she should have gone straight to the truth and try to expose the full craziness of gender ideology. Strategically it probably made sense at the time but it's like that white lie coming back to haunt you.

"Politically inconvenient results from a major US study of puberty blockers have not been published because the lead researcher, Dr Johanna Olson-Kennedy of the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, says she is worried the data showing no improvement could be 'weaponised' and used in litigation by opponents of 'gender-affirming care.' "

This unethical physician is saying the quiet part out loud. Does Olson-Kennedy think no one is listening? Is she so certain in the permanence of the capture of our institutions by gender ideology that she can speak openly about her pernicious strategy without fear of being sanctioned?

Probably she spoke those crucial words among 1000s during a lengthy interview.

Or at least explain why they departed from their proposal.
