When did adolescence become a n insurmountable problem? One that we cannot grow through and survive??

We would have to go back to the unashamed days of child labour & then through all the post-war teen crazes & angst.

One of the suicide contagions noted early on was in the 18th Century when intense young men emulated Goethe's hero Young Werther.

When we gave every facility, that wants to take advantage of the young and vulnerable, direct access to... our young and vulnerable.

Wherever an institution has placed a media device- capable of putting every groomer and marketer in touch with a young person- into a child's hands- we are making their adolescence problematic.

I know it's not as simple as that. But look at the timeline of school-use multimedia devices being introduced by education departments, and the escalation of girls declaring declaring trans identities.

Yes. True. I held out for as long as I could with regards phones etc. And my offspring are all grown up.
